What is Wellness?


Personal wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and consciously making daily choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. 


It is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. Wellness can be perceived differently for everyone. It is generally a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease.


These little choices that you make daily, really matter in the long run. Choosing a healthy snack, not skipping the gym, taking some time to just be “still” and focusing on staying present. All of these actions may just be the positive change you are looking for. 


It’s hard to be there for other people when we are not focusing on our own wellness. Start thinking about small changes that you can make in your daily routine.
