PFAS and fluorinated finishes Excluded
Applied to make fabric shrug off water and stains. They don't break down — in the environment or in the body — which is how they earned the name forever chemicals. Allwear uses none.
Phthalates and BPA Excluded
Plasticisers common in synthetic fibre production, used to keep material flexible. Both are recognised endocrine disruptors. Our elastane is BPA-free and the fabric is screened for phthalates.
Azo dyes that release restricted amines Excluded
The standard low-cost route to strong colour, restricted under EU REACH because certain azo dyes break down into amines of concern. Every Allwear colourway is dyed azo-free.
Antimony residues Excluded
A catalyst used in polyester manufacture that can migrate to skin, particularly as fabric warms against the body. There is no polyester in these joggers, so there is no antimony either.
Formaldehyde finishes Excluded
Applied to stop garments wrinkling and shrinking. It's a skin irritant and a known carcinogen at exposure. We leave it off and let the cotton behave like cotton.
Pesticide residues Excluded
Carried through from conventionally farmed cotton, which is one of the most heavily sprayed crops in the world. GOTS certification traces the fibre from farm to finished fabric.

Side zipper pockets
Phone, cards and keys stay put through a walk, a drive or a nap. No zip means no pocket you can actually trust.

Ribbed ankle cuffs
They hold shape wash after wash, so the hem sits where it should instead of stretching out and swallowing the shoe.

Brushed fabric
A proprietary brushing technique lifts the organic cotton fibres into a plush, velvety texture — soft, breathable and warm without chemical softeners.
